How ALT Sports Data, Inc. collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information.

Last updated September 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how ALT Sports Data, Inc. ("ALT Sports Data," "ASD," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information through our websites, applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Services"), including altsportsdata.com.

By using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1.Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

When you fill out our "Get Started" or contact forms, create an account, buy a plan, or otherwise contact us, we may collect:

  • Contact details: your name and business email address.
  • Organization details: your league, company, or organization name, its website, and the sport it plays or covers.
  • Audience type: whether you are a league, sportsbook or operator, media company, or something else, so we can route your inquiry to the right team.
  • Your message: anything you choose to write in a free-text field.
  • Account information: the email address you use to sign in. We sign you in with a one-time email link, so we do not store a password for you.
  • Billing information: if you buy a plan, payment is handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We receive a customer reference, the plan you bought, and payment status. We never see or store your full card number.
  • API credentials: if you create API keys in your dashboard, we store the keys and basic usage records tied to your account.

1.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit altsportsdata.com, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical and usage data.

  • Analytics: We use Google Tag Manager to load Google analytics tags, and Vercel Web Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site. These tools collect device and browser information, approximate location (country, region, and city, derived from your IP address), pages viewed, referring site, clicks, and form interactions. Google analytics uses a randomly generated cookie ID to count repeat visits; it is not tied to your name or email. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies.
  • Session recordings and heatmaps: We use Hotjar to see how visitors move through our pages. Hotjar may record mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and page layout during your visit, and builds aggregate heatmaps from that data. Hotjar suppresses text you type into form fields by default, so the contents of our forms are not captured in recordings.
  • Bot protection: Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated spam. Turnstile checks signals from your browser and IP address when you submit a form.
  • Server and CDN logs: Our hosting and content delivery providers log IP addresses and request metadata in standard access logs for security and operations.
